The Kandy–Ella line, estate walks and a factory that still runs on 1930s machinery.
The line from Kandy through Nanu Oya to Ella is the reason a lot of people come. Book second-class reserved if you want a seat and the doorway if you want the photographs. Around the line: working estates where you can walk with a plucker, factories that still use rolling machines from the 1930s, and enough waterfalls that you stop counting.
