Sri Lanka packs an extraordinary amount of wildlife into a small island: the highest leopard density in the world at Yala, elephant herds in the hundreds at Minneriya in the dry season, sloth bear at Wasgamuwa and Wilpattu, and blue whales offshore in the south. We use private jeeps and trackers we work with year-round, start before the gates open, and pick the park by the month rather than by the itinerary template.
